(Photo by Rob Foldy/Getty Images)Florida running back Jordan Scarlett is forgoing his senior season to enter the 2019 NFL Draft, he announced this afternoon on Instagram.Scarlett finished with 776 rushing yards and five touchdowns this past season. He split time with Lamical Perine as Florida’s primary ballcarrier.Scarlet finishes his career with 1,846 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns.“To begin, I would like to start by thanking Gator Nation for the tremendous love and support given to me over the past four years,” he wrote in his announcement. “This season has shown me just how much I truly love the game and what it means to be a Florida Gator.“This isn’t a goodbye, it’s see you later Gator Nation. You truly are the best and I love y’all from the bottom of my heart.”Underclassmen have until January 15 to declare their intentions to enter the NFL Draft.The 2019 NFL Draft will be held April 25-27 in Nashville.
