Burke, Sacco both win twice for girls swim Bees

Konz, Sacco, Burke and Madeline Sauro were second in the 200 freestyle relay in 1:57.56.Having not swam at home yet this season, B’ville finally does so next Tuesday when it faced Skaneateles, two days before a trip to West Genesee.center_img Clare Burke and Kali Sacco’s pair of individual race victories led the Baldwinsville girls swim team’s efforts in Tuesday’s road meet against the Oswego Buccaneers.Burke, in the 200-yard freestyle, prevailed in two minutes, 10.72 seconds, edging Oswego’s Ciarrah Tynan (2:10.87) by 0.15 seconds. The 100 butterfly wasn’t as close, Burke winning in 1:07.69 to the 1:10.87 from the Bucs’ Maya Upcraft.Sacco swam the 200 individual medley in 2:25 flat to pull away from Mallory Upcraft (2:29.66), and then was victorious in the 100 breaststroke, going 1:18.18 to the 1:22.68 from the Bucs’ Grace Wing.last_img
