Located on the beach of Xangri-lá, north coast of Rio Grande do Sul, the house Malibu H25 is located in a corner of 414sqm facing a small square with predominantly east sunlight. It is a 226sqm ground floor residence consisting of four suites, guest toilet, laundry area and social area with living and dining areas integrated into the kitchen. The needs program seeks to meet a family in which parents, grandparents, can get together with their children and grandchildren for the summer. Save this picture!© Marcelo DonadussiSave this picture!Floor PlanSave this picture!© Marcelo DonadussiThus, the project was designed to provide privacy and comfort to the residents while using vacations in which rest and recreation activities can occur simultaneously. For that, the intimate area of the dorms was conceived in a distinct wing from the social area resulting in an architectural party in “V” – also due to the geometry of the lot. At the center of this “V”, the social area opens onto a courtyard in direct confrontation with the street. In this patio, of north insolation, is positioned the garden with configuring the “space for the chimarrão of the afternoon” –typical tea of the gauchos. Save this picture!© Marcelo DonadussiThe house have parking space for two cars in open courtyard. It was designed to minimize the automotive emphasis of the space using windows that connect the place to the social area and can be used as a balcony. The apparent brick façade, earth-shingle shingled roof and solid wood pergola seeks to contribute to the space’s accommodation through the use of natural materials combined, drawing in simplicity on the aesthetic of Frank Lloyd Wright’s prairie houses and the purity of the sections of Glenn Murcutt. Save this picture!© Marcelo DonadussiThe interiors of the house reinforce the intention to promote a cozy but also practical and informal environment, with the use of the apparent wood lining and cement floor that generate little reflective planes and atmosphere of rest / resting. Lighting and natural ventilation are provided by large spans in cross-planes predominantly east and north. The construction work, from the marking of the template to the delivery – equipped and decorated – lasted 9 months.Save this picture!© Marcelo DonadussiProject gallerySee allShow lessSaxum Vineyard Equipment Barn / Clayton KorteSelected ProjectsOPEN CALL: Alshati Strip Mall – Dammam CityBuilt Projects & Masterplans Share ShareFacebookTwitterPinterestWhatsappMailOrhttps://www.archdaily.com/932680/malibu-h25-house-integra-studio-arquitetura Clipboard “COPY” CopyAbout this officeÍntegra Studio ArquiteturaOfficeFollowProductsWoodBrick#TagsProjectsBuilt ProjectsSelected ProjectsResidential ArchitectureHousesBrazilPublished on January 31, 2020Cite: “Malibu H25 House / Íntegra Studio Arquitetura” [Casa Malibu H25 / Íntegra Studio Arquitetura] 30 Jan 2020. Portugal ready for ‘tough battle’ with Iran

first_imgIran, who beat Morocco in their opening game before losing to Spain, are trying to reach the latter stages of the World Cup for the first time.“We’ve seen all the qualifying games, not just those at the World Cup, and we’ve seen they’re a very organised team,” Santos said on Sunday.“They have quality players, with the experience of two successive World Cups and some of them are playing in big leagues like Spain, Greece or Russia.”Iran must win in Saransk to prolong their Russian adventure and will take heart from a narrow 1-0 loss against Spain, a game decided by a fluke Diego Costa strike.“In my opinion they are the best Asian team,” Santos said.“They have a lot of ability as a team and not just as a defensive team. They also know how to play on the counter as they showed against Spain.“We have to prepare ourselves for a tough battle, with two teams that want to win and that are going to do everything to achieve that.”Portugal go into the contest as heavy favourites to progress, but veteran centre-back Pepe strongly insisted the job was not yet complete.“We don’t think we have a foot and a half in the last 16 and this is a good thing,” Pepe said.“We have a lot of respect for our rivals and it’s a very important game because it’s going to give us the chance to get through the group phase.”Cristiano Ronaldo has scored all four of Portugal’s goals so far in the tournament, although Santos rejected suggestions the team is overly reliant on the five-time Ballon d’Or winner.“He makes the difference here, like he does at Real Madrid and before at Manchester United and Sporting Lisbon,” Santos said. “But on Monday Iran are going to play against Portugal, not against Cristiano.”There will be a familiar face in the Iran dugout in Carlos Queiroz, a long-time friend of Santos’s who coached his native Portugal at the 2010 World Cup.The former Real Madrid boss and Manchester United assistant has been in charge of the Iran national side since 2011.Queiroz admitted it would be “a special day” facing his homeland but said friendships would be put to one side as he bids to make history with Iran.“We have to be realistic, we’re going to play against one of the strongest teams at the moment, Queiroz said.“Portugal are not only a contender, they’re one of the favourites for the title.”0Shares0000(Visited 1 times, 1 visits today) 0Shares0000Portugal must avoid defeat to Iran to take their place in the knockout rounds © AFP / Jack GUEZSARANSK, Russian Federation, Jun 25 – Portugal boss Fernando Santos predicts a “tough battle” in Monday’s decisive World Cup group game against Iran as both countries chase a place in the last 16.European champions Portugal are level with Spain on four points at the top of Group B and need a draw to guarantee qualification.last_img read more

Liverpool boss Dalglish praises Chelsea

first_imgLiverpool manager Kenny Dalglish praised Chelsea after his team’s 2-1 defeat in the FA Cup final at Wembley. The Merseysiders felt aggrieved after Andy Carroll’s late header was adjudged to have not crossed the line before being pushed onto the crossbar by Blues keeper Petr Cech. But Dalgish conceded: “We were excellent in the last half hour, but a game lasts 90 minutes and you can’t afford to give a quality side like Chelsea a two-goal lead.“Credit to Chelsea – if you’re the better team for an hour of the game then you’ll feel you deserve to win.“You can’t lose two goals in the fashion we did and expect to take anything from the game.”Click here for the Chelsea v Liverpool quizSee also: Drogba strikes again as Chelsea beat Liverpool in controversial finalCech insists Carroll’s header did not cross the lineFollow West London Sport on TwitterFind us on Facebooklast_img read more

Scotland Yard may complete fixing investigation soon

first_imgFile photo of Pakistan cricket players (L-R) Mohammad Amir, Mohammad Asif and Salman Butt in Taunton. The Scotland Yard is expected to complete its investigations into the spot-fixing allegations against three Pakistani players by next week.”The Pakistan Cricket Board is expecting Scotland Yard to submit its initial findings by next week that is why the three players under suspension, Salman Butt, Mohammad Aamir and Mohammad Asif were advised by the board’s legal team to seek more time from the ICC to respond to charges against them,” a source disclosed.”So far the correct position is that the Scotland Yard have not shared information of their investigations and findings so far with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) but indications are they will wrap up things and give a report by next week.”The source said Butt, Aamir and Asif — in their replies to the notice of charges sent to them individually by the International Cricket Council (ICC)’s Anti-Corruption and Security Unit — had asked for an extension of time from the ACSU to submit detailed answers to the charges against them.”They have pointed out in their replies that since the Scotland Yard was also investigating the spot fixing issue they should be given an extension on the deadline for them to submit detailed replies to the notice of charge against them,” the source added.Normally, players have to respond properly and in detail to a notice of charge sent to them by the ACSU in 14 days’ time but the ACSU general manager has the authority to give an extension on the deadline.advertisement”The ACSU GM has allowed the players an extension but it is not known how long this extension is,” the insider stated. He said the decision to ask for extension was taken when the players met Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Ijaz Butt and discussed the ongoing investigations and the allegations against them.”Apparently, Butt has assured them that the Scotland Yard or ICC so far have unearthed no hard evidence and if the Scotland Yard presses no charges against them it would also deflate the investigations by the ACSU into the spot fixing allegations.”But the insider confirmed that the ICC inquiry net was wider with not only Pakistani players under scrutiny but some from other countries as well.last_img read more
